For instance, Kaylee Girl loves to YouTube Tom & Jerry cartoons (we don’t have television in our house). I am putting in motion a plan to allow her to earn 15 minutes of cartoon time by modeling expected behavior at home. I’m not above bribery. 🙂
The girls are enjoying dance classes, Kaylee Girl is still a part of the dance company and will be performing in the Nutcracker in December and taking part in a holiday performance at the senior center. She is also joining Kenzie Dear as an Irish dancer this year. Both of the older girls have also joined the church choir. This gives them one practice a week and one performance a month (do you call it a performance?). I’m seriously considering piano lessons for both girls, but I don’t want to overextend ourselves.
I did sign both girls up for a four week Mad Science program. They’ve only attended the first session, but love it so far.
Since the youngest is in public kindergarten this year, we aren’t doing a lot of extra activities for her. Just the three hour school program wears her out.
