Environmentalism and Family Planning

That’s what I’m talking about over at Eco Child’s Play. It seems that so many environmentalists believe that having children is a negative. I beg to differ…

“I believe that we should be the people raising MORE CHILDREN. By the very nature of parenting, I am raising children who are conscious of the impact of everything they do on the earth. They CARE about conservation and reducing consumption.” Read more at Eco Child’s Play.

  1. It’s no ones business how many children you have. No one should tell you what to do especially when religion plays a part in family planning decision. Tell people to stuff it.

That being said, I do think unless we only replace ourselves or have one less we may be heading for trouble. Every child is a gift, but unless start to limit them soon we may run out of resources. BUT, this is a decision we made for ourselves and I would never presume to tell someone else to follow me.
