Little Critter starts traditional preschool on Monday. She will be followed closely by the Early Intervention Team and they will have regular visits with her in the classroom.
We felt this was a necessary switch because she is far ahead of most of the children in the E.I. preschool, many of whom do not yet speak (and definitely not to the level of her incessant chatter).
I’m a bit nervous about this switch, wondering how she will cope in a larger classroom without the individualized attention she’s used to. I also worry about how the new teachers will handle her! Luckily, the main teacher in the mornings is a former E.I. teacher, so I’m hoping and praying she has some serious skills!
