My Family Must Think We Are Alcoholics…

Because I was gifted with this margarita set and beautiful glasses…

And Oregon Dad was gifted with three bottles of wine and the words, “We wanted to make sure your wine rack was filled!”

Now that the wine rack is officially full,  Hubs has decided it should be down on the counter instead of up there in that cubby (which I think is the perfect spot for it, visible but out of danger).  I have a feeling in the coming weeks it will be on our counter somewhere.

This is a very beginning wine collection… we’ve always wanted to drink wine, there is just this little problem.  I don’t like wine.  Guess I need to acquire the taste!

Someday (in my wildest dreams otherwise known as the three year plan which really is probably a ten year plan) when we build our beautiful new house (the floorplan, fixtures, flooring, granite and tiles are already picked out), we intend to have an actual wine cellar.  Heh… this is all making sense now, the family must think we are alcoholics because we talk about actually being able to build that house… 🙂

  1. Maybe you are more suited to be wine collectors instead of wine drinkers.

  2. Hubs is a wine drinker… I’ll get there eventually. I do like looking at the pretty bottles. 🙂

  3. static brain says:

I think it would be safer in the cubby. That rack looks precarious, especially with kids in the house. 😉 Happy New Years.
