Looooooong Week.

Friday was one week post surgery. I’m feeling pretty darn good in that regard. Antibiotics are done which means I don’t have to gulp yogurt to counteract unpleasant side effects…

And now I’ve got a nasty cold or is it a flu? Who knows. What I know is I’m soooooo tired, my throat is burning like crazy and now I’ve got that sinus run that makes me cough all night long… so I ended up sitting up in the recliner (how I hate recliners, they are so ugly) all night.

Despite not feeling so hot… I must admit, These are some cute kids!

This one didn’t make the Holiday Card cut… can you guess why? 🙂

We’ll be baking some GFCF sugar cookies this afternoon and working on Oregon Dad’s Ice Cream Birthday Cake.

  1. We did an icedream cake ourselves this year for the kids…it went really well and was about 20 times cheaper than a store bought ice cream cake.

What an adorable bunch! I am sure the photo shows each one of them as the characters that they are.

  2. One week after surgery, you need to go see the Dr. with your symptoms. Dad can watch the kids for a bit.

    Pretty Please?

  3. Meg says:

Cute kids! Haha little critter just makes me smile. I too had a great family photo, except for the little girl sticking her tongue out! I should have sent them anyway…we don’t need to be so serious all the time!
Enjoy the cake- *I* know how much you guys LOVE your ice cream!
