“A child miseducated is a child lost.”

John Fitzgerald Kennedy

May 29, 1917- Nov. 22, 1963

He was one smart man. One we will not forget.

In my own grief this week, I failed to recall the 45th Anniversary of the death of this great man. I wasn’t born when JFK died but I remember growing up with the stories of how my Mom was walking home from school while housewives poured out their front doors screaming and crying because this beloved man had been shot and killed.

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”

-Mark Twain

Another smart man.

love mark twain, here’s another of my favorites,”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
